About Me

Hello! I'm Leviticus, a passionate web and software developer based in Te Anau, New Zealand. After years of doing various other things I decided to follow my passion in technolgy, this led me to discover my love of Coding, I an mostly self-taught, however after 5 years of selfdirect leasrning I formalized some of my knowledge with a New Zealand Diploma in Web Design. I’ve been writing code for Around 7 years now and I just enjoy building in a virtal space.

Although my work began with web design using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, I don't limit myself to just websites. I also have experience with C#, XML, Python, and Kotlin, and I enjoy exploring these technologies in my projects. My ultimate goal is to continue learning, improving, and creating solutions that make a difference. While I haven't yet worked as a professional developer, I am interested in making the final move into a full-time professional space.

My Development Process

I believe the process of building anything starts with understanding the user and their needs. Here's a rough breakdown of how I approach development:

Understanding Requirements: Whether it’s a website or an app, I make sure I understand what’s needed. This means learning about the purpose, target audience, and any specific functionalities required.
Planning: Before jumping into code, I take some time to plan out the structure, content, and flow. This often involves wireframes for websites or basic sketches for apps.
Writing Code: This is my favorite part. I write clean, efficient, and modular code. Whether it’s HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, C#, XML, or Kotlin, I focus on making the code scalable and easy to maintain.
Testing and Debugging: Once I’ve built something, I test it thoroughly. This involves cross-browser testing for websites or device testing for apps. Debugging is key to making sure everything runs smoothly.
Launch and Iteration: After the project is deployed, I keep an eye on its performance and make improvements based on feedback and user experience.

This process isn’t fixed in stone—I'm always adapting to new tools and methods to keep improving my work.
